The government today announced five days of public holiday starting from April 7 to April 11 to ensure broader participation of all Nepali citizens in the April 10 Constituent Assembly election. The decision taken by a cabinet meeting held at the Singha Durbar today would actually result in eight days of public holidays since three public holidays follow after April 11.
